GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a vertical rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the upper boundary of the rectangle draw two vertical lines that will divide the rectangle by 3 equal parts. 3) From the middle of the right boundary of the rectangle, draw one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 4) Draw a horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Mark the width and height of the Denroid. Draw three shapes that will form the basis for the trunk and crown.
img
STEP 2. Sketch the crown and mark two circles around the edges, for an even roundness. Outline the shape of the body, hands and feet. Erase redundant lines of the trunk.
img
STEP 3. Sketch the entire crown. Draw the brushes and feet. Outline the lines for the arms and legs. Erase the auxiliary circles.
img
STEP 4. Draw the outline of the arms and sketch lines for the fingers. Sketch the branches from the pole to the crown. Outline the eyes and mouth.
img
STEP 5. Add the shape of the denroid's legs, branches and mouth. Erase the contours of the legs.
img
STEP 6. Finish with the shapes of the legs and arms. Mark the outline of the branch on the hand. Erase the contours of the feet and hands.
img
STEP 7. Work on the Deneroid's body and mouth. Add some detail to the hands. Erase redundant lines of the mouth and body.
img
STEP 8. Finish the crown of the tree and the branch on the arm. Add pupils to the eyes. Detail the drawing by adding stripes on the bark and eyebrows. Erase all of the guidelines.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour Dendroid, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the guidelines. Enjoy your drawing!
